India-Bound Next Generation Audi Q5 Spied Testing In Mumbai

A test prototype of the upcoming next generation Audi Q5 has been spotted on test rounds in Mumbai. It is likely to make its global debut by the end of this year and India launch might take place in early 2017. This India-bound vehicle after testing in various countries, now it has been tested on local conditions. As from the online emerged images, the Audi Q5 seems to have reworked skin and might get altered mechanicals. Expected to hit the Indian shores through CKD channel, locally assembled at the company Aurangabad capability, the Audi Q5 will avail the audience in both petrol or diesel variants.

Optically, the major highlight on almost all the spied test mules is the chrome work on the glass area and the body wide chrome strip. While the India spied one was camouflaged at the front and the rear end and no chrome finishes were witnessed on the particular model. Still, there is a possibility of a body-wide chrome strip on the ready to launch version. From the images, nothing can be ensured about the Audi Q5 exterior. Though it is presumed to get one of Audi’s modern grille design incorporated with projector headlamp units and rear end might come furnished with revamped C-shape LED tail lights.

Moreover, the next generation Audi Q5 will be offered with improved interior featuring like rich infotainment system, fresh upholstery, enough legroom and advanced safety features for the occupants.
