Indian Motorcycles Unveil Jack Daniel's Chieftain Special Edition

Polaris has revealed the special edition Indian Jack Daniel’s Chieftain. Built in partnership with the US-based custom house, Klock Werks Kustom Cycles, the Jack Daniel’s Chieftain is being manufactured in a limited amount of only 100 units for its admirers across the world.

The elegant black/white paint job has been specially prepared for the Jack Daniel’s Chieftain.The bike also witnesses commemorative ‘Old No 7’ badges and a handcrafted barrel wood badge with an American flag, the motorcycle’s serial number from the manufacturers along with owner’s name.

The Jack Daniel’s Chieftain gets the propelling power from the same conventional 1811 cc ‘Thunder-Stroke’ V-twin powerplant. The engine is rated to deliver 139 Nm of torque with the help of a coupled six-speed gearbox transmission. There is also the employment of a few hardware components on this special edition which sets it apart from the regular Indian Chieftain. Includes, an optional Big Sucker air intake, and a slip-on exhaust system which supports in improving motorcycle performance and producing a pleasing exhaust note.

A host of noteworthy features on the bike are LED lights, power adjustable flare windshield, 200-watt stereo system with speakers embedded in the fairing, Indian's Ride Command infotainment system and the saddlebags offering as well, for carrying rider’s belongings. Moreover, the owner will also be benefited with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty and the deliveries against bookings will start in the upcoming month of August this year.

In terms of pricing, the potential buyer’s will have to pay Rs 9.63 lakh more over the price sticker of standard Chieftain, costs Rs. GBP 33,799 (Rs 26.9 lakh). Owing to its bizarre paint job, which bestows exclusivity to this limited edition model. Unfortunately, there is a sad news for the audience of India, that Indian market will not receive a single unit of this special edition Indian Chieftain Jack Daniel motorcycle.
