Indian Scout Sixty Launches in Bangalore at INR 12.21 Lakh (Ex-showroom)

Named after its 60 cubic-inch (999cc) engine, the 2016 Indian Scout Sixty has now reached to India’s IT hub, Bangalore dealerships. Continue onto its phase-wise launch strategy, the legendary American giant, Indian Motorcycles rolled out the Scout Sixty at a higher price tag of Rs 12.21 (ex-showroom) than other cities.

Under massive fuel tank of 12.5 litres, this entry level motorcycle has a 999cc, liquid-cooled fuel injected V-twin engine that belts out a maximum power of 77 bhp and a towering torque of 88.8Nm with the aids of a connected 5-speed gearbox.

To deal with rough stuff, the Scout Sixty is furnished with telescopic forks at the upfront. While rear get equipped with the dual shock absorbers. Braking duties are under the supervision of 298mm disc brakes with a two-piston caliper at the front and a single piston caliper on the same size disc at the rear wheel. To provide an exceptional grip on to every kind road terrain, blacked out alloy wheels are wrapped with 130/90-16 72H tyre at the front and 150/80-16 71H at the rear.

Highlighted features include black themed engine covering and wheels along with chromed exhausts. This cruiser has been provided in three attractive color options of Red, White, and Black.

Moreover, the Scout Sixty can be retrofitted with lots of accessories offered by the automaker. Accessories include handlebars, foot peg-relocators, customized seat, saddle bags, quick release windscreen, etc according to the taste of the owner.
