Is this the Small-Engined BMW-TVS Swatch? Snooped testing

A few months back, we've got to know about the joint collaboration of the German two-wheeler manufacturer and an Indian motorcycle firm. Yes, the BMW-TVS collaboration. The German motorcycle maker has joined hands with the TVS motorcycles and now, both the firms are together working on a small-engine capacity sports motorcycle. The companies haven't revealed any information about the upcoming motorcycle, but recently the naked sports motorcycle prototype was spotted testing. The test mule is codenamed as K03 enlightening several features of the upcoming motorcycle.

The BMW-TVS spotted test mule is expected to feature a small-engined naked motorcycle. The engine capacity holds in between 300-500cc displacement. The K03 would be the first motorcycle manufactured by the German firm in the joint venture with the TVS Motorcycles. The spied images reveal that the naked motorcycle is equipped with a four-stroke, single-cylinder configuration. The water-cooled motor is expected to carry an engine displacement in between 300cc-500cc. However, these are just speculations until the manufacturer will confirm anything.

Talking about the makeover of the BMW-TVS upcoming machine, the spied images reveal that it is a naked sports motorcycle featuring 6-spokes alloy wheels surrounded by Michelin tyres. The stopping power has been taken care by single disc brake at the front and rear, incorporated with ABS braking system. The additional equipments installed on the motorcycle are upside-down telescopic front forks, single headlight unit and a side slung exhaust. The spotted images of the K03 show its front-to-back cylinder with the stylish exhaust accompanying the rear tyre.

According to the manufacturers, the upcoming naked sports motorcycle from BMW-TVS will be making its appearance in the Indian two-wheeler market by the end of the fiscal year, 2015. The K03 will be rivaling with the upcoming Yamaha R25, Honda CBR 250R and the existing KTM Duke 390.
