Yes, UK based car maker company Jaguar plans to roll out its 2014 Land Rover models with integrated smartphone applications named InControl Apps in their dashboards. Jaguar has said that users can simply download Jaguar or Land Rover application from the Google Play Store or the Apple App Store to enjoy new features.
Right through the dashboard, people can install and update apps. Its just a major connectivity between automobiles and smartphones or you may say combo of the both. The company has no more updates yet but claims to "launch a new era of in-vehicle app connectivity".
Jaguar wants to prove a neck to neck competitor of their models to Ford and some other company's models, who have already a similar feature like this. The company thinks that, it will be a heart touching thing for people in the race of growing modern technology. InControl Apps also help people to make their ride happy and enjoyable.
