The new driver's car from the British auto manufacturing giant Jaguar has just been revealed at an event at the Earls Court, London. The car is named as Jaguar XE, which takes its design patterns from the uber luxury F-Type and XJ series. This new XE redefines the sport saloon concept with the lightweight construction materials, streamline exteriors and luxurious interiors. The car is made of aluminum to make it ultra light and hence faster. It'll be officially off for the world at the upcoming Paris Motor Show 2014.
The new Jaguar XE has latest Inginum class engine family introduced too, for the better performance in both fuel options diesel and petrol. The top model of the XE, that is XE s will be powered by the supercharged 3.0 L V6 petrol engine and will churn out the maximum power of 340 PS and 450 Nm of torque mated with a 8-speed automatic transmission system. The other two variants will be 2.0 L 4-cylinder petrol and diesel engine with a 8-speed automatic and 6-speed manual transmission system. The top model will be accelerated from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.9 seconds with the electrically limited top speed of 250 km/h.
The car has all the luxury features such as electric power steering, technical fabrics, fine quality leather, textured aluminum, glossy dashboard, contemporary wood interiors and much more to make it feel like a true Jaguar. The price of this lass will be approximately INR 27 Lac and it's supposed to arrive in India by mid 2015 after getting launched at Paris Motor Show in October next month.
