Kawasaki KX250F, KX100F Dirt Bikes Introduced in India; Priced in INR 4-7 Lakh

As announced earlier, Kawasaki has launched its in hype motocross dirt bikes- the KX250F and the KX100 in India. These first in the segment motorcycles from any bike maker in the country, are being sold into the price span of INR 4-7 lakh. The quarter-liter one, the KX250F is available with a price sticker of INR 7.14 lakh. Albeit, the compact engine sibling, the KX100 is carrying a more accessible price note of INR 4.69. Here in India, the bikes are imported via a completely-built-up (CBU) units. Both the prices are applicable at the Delhi authorized dealerships. But it will be really unfortunate to know you guys that neither of them is road legal, as these are fun to ride bikes and can be ridden only in your personal property.

In terms of power specifications, the KX250F, the powerful yet lightweight dirt bike, is in mechanism with a single cylinder four-stroke 250cc engine to propel out the meaty power output, through the mated five-speed gearbox transmission. The suspension duties on this motocross dirtbike, are under the consideration of a 48 mm upside-down Showa with separate function forks (SFF) at the front end. While, the rear end is armed with a mono shock with preload, compression and damping adjustment facilities to complete the package. A 270mm disc up front with the dual-piston calliper and a rear wheel placed single 240mm disc with single-piston calliper, perform the prominent task of de-acceleration of this 104kg bike, efficiently.

The other member in the spotlight, the KX100F is packed with a two-stroke 100cc liquid-cooled engine, inside a perimeter frame to perform on the uneven dirt terrain. Apart from this, the major highlight of this motorcycle is its six-way adjustable handlebar, which offers the freedom of customizing riding positions from the offered six different handlebar positions. For the damping duties, a 36mm upside-down forks and a rear monoshock are there in this KX100F.
