Kawasaki Ninja H2 which is the dream bike of many with amazing appearance and performance. There are so many reasons for likings the Ninja H2 as the bike stand out uniquely from other bikes due to some exceptional specifications. One of the prominent reasons is that it is the only production motorcycle in the globe to have supercharger technology.
Now, with the latest offering Ninja H2 SX, the Kawasaki is all ready to have some updated features over Ninja H2. In the last report, the bike is mistakenly named as Kawasaki Ninja H2GT but the latest speculations mentioned it is a Kawasaki Ninja H2 SX. The bike is a sports tourer based on the Ninja H2.
The Ninja H2 SX is powered by a 998cc, inline, 4-cylinder engine. The bike is mated with the six-speed transmission system. New tourer is able to churn out the maximum power of 198 BHP and maximum torque of 134 Nm. The power equipment is similar to Ninja H2 but some revisions also made to the engine to make it super performing bike. The news is also confirmed by the company officials that the company is not going to get the same engine specification as Ninja H2 so we can expect some of the tweaks in engine specs to make it a super performing sports tourer.
The new tourer bike will be using a firm supercharged engine with adapted supercharger inlet for torque enhancement and mid-range. So, it is expected from the bike to make 198 BHP globally as in the American-spec H2.
The two variants of the bike will be available with no tweaks in engine power and torque performance. The changes in these variants can be in suspension front or the bodywork of the motorcycle. We can see some of the features just similar to H2 with the feel of new Ninja H2. As rumored, the latest bike will come in newly fitted twin 330 mm disc brakes at the front end and a single 250 mm disc brakes at the rear end. The ABS (Anti-lock braking system) will also be available with the bike as standard.
Apart from this, some of the specs that will be included in the Ninja H2 SX are traction control, quick shifter, steering damper, launch control system, Kawasaki engine braking control, and many others. The chassis will be modified in the new Ninja H2 SX by the company. It is also expected that Ninja H2 SX can get revised trellis frame to match up with the current requirements.
The sports tourer is going in the competition against some of the most famous tourer bikes such as Honda Goldwing and BMW K 1600 GT. Kawasaki will wrap off the bike at the 2017 EICMA show which will take place in Milan on November 7.
