Kawasaki Versys 650 Launched In India; Priced at 6.6 lakh (Ex-showroom)

The 2015 is going to say goodbye for now, whereas the Japanese two-wheeler giant, Kawasaki, is making the remaining days more memorable with the launching of its new tourer motorcycle for the Indian enthusiasts. Kawasaki India has launched its much-awaited tourer motorcycle, Versys 650, in the country today. The motorcycle has been launched in the country at 6.6 lakh (Ex-showroom, Delhi) that will be sold only in single color- Grey. Moreover, it is the most versatile and middle-weight motorcycle that will provide excellent touring capability on the Indian terrain.

The Versys 650 looks very identical and also shares similar features to its litre-class Versys 1000. The motorcycle comes featured with an array of dynamic components that will provide fun-to-ride. Further, the motorcycle features dual headlamps, adjustable windscreen, muscular fuel tank, broad front fenders and LED tail unit. The motorcycle comes with adjustable handlebar and wide seats for that extra comfort on long journeys.

The motorcycle has been manufactured in well manner from each direction as it has ground clearance of 170mm. The dynamic ergonomics comprises of 2164mm in length, 840mm in width and 1397mm in height. From the mechanical side, the Versys 650 features a front and rear disc brake, while Anti-lock Braking System is standard in the motorcycle. The suspension duties are managed by front adjustable 41mm Showa forks and the rear monoshock with preload adjustability.

In terms of technical dynamic, the motorcycle is powered by a four-stroke, liquid-cooled, DOHC motor, carrying an engine displacement of 649cc. The fuel injection motor oozes a 69 Ps of power and 63.7 Nm of torque, the motor is coupled with a six-speed transmission.
