KTM to Expose Next-gen KTM RC390 by End 2017

Twitter sources of Overdrive state that we can have the next-generation KTM RC390 at home by the end of 2017. However, glimpses of the same could be seen at the upcoming EICMA show, which will take place between the period of October-November.

November will be ceded to the motor show as it will highlight gems on the ground. Reported to be started from 10th of next month, this year’s EICMA will unload the next-gen 2017 KTM Duke 390. Reckoning the previous reports, the model in question will adopt the powertrain of the standard 390’s single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine, which has a displacement of 373.2cc.

Current KTM RC390

Albeit, power is anticipated to be increased than the current trim of Duke, which generates 43.5PS backing with 35NM of torque. The engine comes mated to a six-speed transmission. Speaking of the modification, the new model gets an underbelly exhaust as compared to the older machines, which meet the Euro-4 emission norms. Moreover, the bike will be armed with a ride-by-wire set up for Europe.

The market of the advanced 2017 KTM Duke 390 and the current RC390 won’t get affected until the new RC390 gets launched. They will be on sale simultaneously. Though much of the details have not be surfaced yet, still the 2017 model is expected to get a new color LCD display unit.

Next Gen KTM Duke

KTM range now includes three models, namely, the KTM Duke 390, the RC 390, and the Adventure 390, out of which the last one is scheduled to hit the dealerships in 2019.
