Latest Version of Porsche 911 Turbo and Turbo S Revealed

Porsche is one of the most preferred brands for sportscar around the globe specially for its 911 model. In order to keep impressing the audience, the automaker has recently revealed the latest version of 911 Turbo and Turbo S models available in both coupe and convertible body styles. These cars are going to be superior in power and will be tweaked with a sharper design as compared to the earlier model. The official debut is scheduled to take place at Detroit Auto Show that will be held in United States, followed by a launch in the country in April, 2016.

Starting with the exterior features, the front end has been revamped that houses re-styled DRLs and side air blades. The rear end has also received various changes including new tail lamps and a pair of re-designed dual tailpipes. Moving on, the exhaust tips of Turbo S are found in black chrome, whereas it's gloss chrome in Turbo. The 20-inch alloy wheels and body colored door handles devoid of recess covers are also some noteworthy equipments.

The interior is equally amazing with modern fitments like 7-inch PCM touchscreen infotainment with Connect Plus and navigation facility as a standard arrangement. It also offers easy smartphone integration and compatibility with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cable, etc. There is a 555 Watt Bose audio system as standard but the owner can also opt for an 821 watt Burmester unit.

Mechanically, since these new models promise to be more powerful, an additional 20Hp is generated by the engine as compared to the predecessor. It's a 3.8 litre unit that makes 540Hp/709Nm in Turbo and 580Hp/750Nm in Turbo S. The former can sprint from 0 to 60mph in just 2.9 seconds with the top speed of 198mph while the latter can cover the same distance in 2.8 seconds when the top speed is limited to 205mph.
