Lexus that started its India operations in March this year, is ready to introduce a new car on 17 of the coming month. As of now, the Indian lineup has the models such as the ES 300h hybrid sedan, the RX450h, and the LX 450d full-size SUV. The new member in the lineup could be the smallest SUV from Lexus stable, the NX 300h as judged from the front silhouette of the car in the official invite. It’s just an idea as there are no official words from the carmaker. If the NX 300h that is the smallest SUV available in the global market, will mark its presence in the Indian market, it will get positioned below the full-sized RX450h hybrid SUV in India. Apart from launching a new product in near future, the company is also offering the RC F sports car on special demand.
If the powertrain of the SUV is considered, it is obvious from the name, the NX300h that it will be a hybrid car. Also, the 2.5-litre four-cylinder petrol engine under the hood will send the propelling power to the wheels in association with an electric motor. The cumulative power churns out of the integration is 194bhp as claimed. The transmission duties for the mill will be handled by an electronically controlled CVT unit. Besides, the combined power of electric and petrol, the SUV can also run with the use of power generated by their separate mechanism. Moreover, we can also expect the top-end F Sport trim of the model as well that will also be offered with the same powertrain.

In terms of style, the front of the NX300h is blessed with the signature grille, sharp LED headlamps, LED daytime running lamps and round LED fog lamp on that aggressive bumper. Other than this, there are character lines along the bonnet and the profile that looks stunning. There are flared wheel arches with plastic cladding, side skirts, and roof rails. While the rear receives roof-mounted spoiler, sharp wraparound tail lamps, and a rear diffuser as well.
