Lohia Auto has rolled out OMA Star, an electric scooter at an economical price tag of INR 40,850 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The name of the newbie is inspired from a Pokemon character. Adorned with attractive styling and top shelf components, it offers best in class performance.
Mr Ayush Lohia, CEO, Lohia Auto Industries, said, “We understand the needs of our customers and believe in providing with smart mobility solutions. We believe ‘Omastar’ adds significant value in form and function to the electric bike segment and also address the environmental concerns of the automobile industry and the country”.
This eco-friendly scooter comes in four captivating color options of red, black, white and grey. For rider’s aid, it is featured with digital speedometer, under seat storage, alloy wheels, high ground clearance, telescopic suspension, etc.
Built at the automaker’s manufacturing unit in Kashipur, Uttarakhand, the OMA Star get propelling power from 250W electric motor that offers the range of 60 km in a full charge after being charged for 6 to 8 hours.

Ideally suited for Indian road and traffic conditions, the zero emission scooter is tuned to provide noise free travel. Besides this, one can use the sales, service and spare network of the company throughout the country. However, the company claims the low maintenance cost and huge battery life.
Apart from this, established in 2008, Lohia Auto till date has rolled out five models- OMA, OMA star, DX, FAME, GENIUS and ‘HUMRAHI’ NARAIN two e-Rickshaw in the market.
