Mahindra and Skoda are two different species of the automotive world but they have given best quality vehicles to this world. Skoda Rapid is an entry level sedan car which is bound under news to get a better face than the current car, most probably the European version. It is for sure that the Rapid will get a similar or slightly redesigned outer structure but when it comes to India standard rigidity than no one beats Mahindra. Mahindra is an Indian manufacturer of robust and tough SUV/MUV. Skoda on the other hand is a German giant which delivers best in class rigidity. They are coming together to deliver a great product.
Skoda had released a tender for the on road presence of their upcoming facelift of Rapid. Mahindra won this contract and they will be re-engineering the car to customize it for India. The currently model was recently makeovered by Skoda with introduction of projector headlamps, new steering wheel and gear shift knob, better music player etc. taking the hint from the newly launched Skoda Octavia and Superb, Rapid may get a wider grille and sharper lights. The clear picture will come out once the company finalizes the car structure which will be meant for India.
