Mahindra e-Verito Electric Sedan Launched at INR 9.5 Lakhs

Mahindra and Mahindra has finally placed the vehicle that will take the cover for affected sales owing to Delhi and Kerala Diesel ban. Yeah! We are talking about the e-Verito fully electric car, which was first showcased at the 2014 Auto Expo as a concept followed by its appearance at 2016 Auto Expo. Well, the model has finally been launched in India at the starting price of INR 9.5 Lakhs and goes up to INR 10 Lakhs (Ex-showroom, Delhi).

Initially, the e-Verito comes for the Delhi car market that will drive later to the other cities like Mumbai, Bangalore, Chandigarh, Hyderabad, Jaipur and Nagpur. Just like the regular Verito, it is also available in three different trims such as D2, D4 and D6. Its 72V, 3-phase makes an enough power of 40 Bhp and a peak torque of 91 Km. On a full charge, the car can run up to 100 km, which is also an interesting part of the vehicle.

It will take about 8 hours to charge the battery again as well as it can be charged in less than 90 minutes just by selecting the fast charge mode. However, the fast charge facility only comes with the D6 variant of the e-Verito. As Mahindra and Mahindra claimed, the e-Verito can reach at the top speed of 86 kmph and it will have a low running costs of INR 1.15/km.

When it comes to design, you are going to see a very few changes with its interior, while the exterior will remain same as earlier one. Moreover, it also comes stitched with special moniker or stickers to make it different from its regular model.
