Just few days back we updated you about the spy shots of Mahindra Genio being revealed. Now again Mahindra and Mahindra has launched Mahindra Quanto at EUR 14.274 in Italy, which also happens to be one of the export markets of Indian car maker. In Indian rupees, its price nearly equals to 10.04 lacs. The model launched in Italy apart from the price difference also differs in terms of its specs.
The Mahindra Quanto sold in Italy will get a 2.2-liter diesel engine, which produces 120 bhp of power mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. It can also be equipped with an electronic 4WD system as an optional feature. However, if we look at the specifications of the model sold in India we observe that it comes equipped with a 1.5-liter three cylinder engine and no option of a 4WD system. On the Interior front, it comes with features such as rear seat folding parcel tray, cruise control, radio with MP3 player, USB and SD Card, trip computer, steering-mounted buttons, electronic assistance for hill starts and hill assist, immobilizer, alloy wheels (wheel covers on 2WD variant) and running boards sill.

The sources also reveal that the Indian market will supposedly get a face-lifted model in 2016 under a new name and with improved exterior and interior styling, upgraded engine and better equipments.
