Mahindra Might Launch Verito Electric Car in 2015

India's leading car manufacturer Mahindra Motors is planning an on-slaughter for the home country by launching many facelifts including new XUV500, Bolero U301 & U101 (new) and a few more cars as well. However, apart from the SUV market with Scorpio and XUV500, Mahindra doesn't generate higher sales volume in the other car segments and for the same reason I guess the company is making plans to bring its Verito sedan model in electric form. The car was first launched at the Delhi Auto Expo 2014 and might see the light of the day in upcoming 3-4 months. The car will not only be sold in India, but export to Europe as well or this what the company is saying to us.

The electric version will not any major cosmetic changes as will look like as same as the current diesel version of the car. It'll be getting powered by 39 bhp AC electric motor that makes the car to cover the distance of 100 km at a single change which takes around 7-hours to be ready with full-power. And, other subtle changes in this electric vehicle will be removal of fuel-lid with a plug-in source, automatic and electric badging at rear with some style effects as well.

This all new Verito electric could go up to the 85 km/h of high-speed, which I guess makes this car a very practical city sedan car with handsome mileage as well. Now, let's just wait for the launch and deciding over its use.
