Mahindra Mojo To be Retailed Through Exclusive Outlet, More Variants Projected

Mahindra 2Wheelers, two-wheeler arm of Mahindra & Mahindra, as for now focusing on the premium bike segment, owing to Mahindra Mojo is doing well as expected by the firm, in the Indian motoring world. Interestingly, the Mahindra is willing to continue this Mojo brand as its mainstay for a couple of years, and has planned the introduction of several new variants in coming years. If go back in time, the Mojo Scrambler and Adventure Tourer versions, which was premiered at the 2016 Delhi Auto Event could make its way to sell in the merchandise in next two years. So, to enhance the Mojo lineup and its popularity, Mahindra will now sale the said model via exclusive outlets, named after the motorcycle name, Mojo.

The much awaited, Mojo, since it showcase in 2010 at Auto Expo, finally made it to hit the Indian two-wheelers market last year, and with its offering capabilities, it justifies its delay in introduction. With despite a few flaws, Mojo is a terrafic product and worth fighting for the Mahindra and the brand is also tending its focus to expand its two wheeler business.

If configures the future projects of Mahindra, there are three models which are suggested to be a part of Mojo lineup and will be displayed and sold by the exclusive Mojo outlets. The products include the Scrambler and Adventure variants, along with a low-cost version of the Mojo, which made its appearance while testing earlier this year. The embellished fitments will be a single silencer, carburettor employment in place of fuel-injection, Pirelli’s replacement MRF tyres, Conventional telescopic forks will swap USDs one, and more. With this arrangement, the upcoming Mojo will be less expensive rather than ongoing Mojo and will confronted with the upcoming Bajaj Dominar 400 as a potential rival.

Meanwhile, Mahindra 2 Wheelers is willing to expand its reach in other segments as the company has acquired two vintage brands like the Jawa and BSA, this year. Jawa is anticipated to hit the market with some refinements, Whereas, the BSA brand will be aimed for only the European and American market for now.

In 2008, Mahindra & Mahindra step into the two wheelers market after SYM Kinetic occupancy. However, the Centuro and Gusto, commuter offerings didn't perform as per the expectations of Mahindra. But, the much anticipated Mojo, powerful 300cc bike is alway been a good sign of advancement for the company in the future.
