Mahindra To Export Mojo To International Markets By The Mid Of 2016

Mahindra Two-wheelers has recently launched its much-awaited 300CC motorcycle, Mahindra Mojo, in the domestic market at Rs. 1.58 lakh (Ex. Showroom Delhi), which is an introductory price that is valid till the Diwali. Now, the company is planning to export the Mahindra Mojo in some international markets as South East Asia, Latin America, and North Africa by the mid of 2016. However, presently, the company is focusing on the domestic market for sales and after that the company will start the production of the Mojo in some international markets.

Powering the new Mojo is a single-cylinder, air-cooled, four-stroke and 249.7cc motor that make it able to produce 26.82 BHP of power at 8000 RPM and 30Nm of torque at 5500 RPM. The engine has been configured with the Double Over Head Camshaft (DOHC) and Electronic Fuel Injection System (EFI) to boost the overall performance of the motorcycle. The motor is paired with a six-speed transmission that endows smooth and quick shifting of the gears.

Mahindra Mojo Front

Mahindra is banking on a technology that has been derived from Mahindra Racing Moto3 world championship motorcycles to make it stand apart from the competition. It sports outstanding features that are derived from the racing motorcycles, the Mojo gets a front inverted forks, a rear mono shock suspension, Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres, 320 mm disc brake at the front and a 240 mm disc brake at the rear. Other features include dual exhaust pipes, twin golden rib beneath the fuel tank and twin headlights that add more taste in its body profile.

The 300cc Mojo competing with the rivals of the segment that includes Honda CBR250R, Benelli TNT 25, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Hyosung GD250R and Yamaha YZF R3. The motorcycle is being offered in three color options- Glacier White, Charcoal Black and Volcano Red.
