Mahindra Two Wheelers Launches Mojo; Priced at INR 1,58,000

Mahindra Mojo, indeed it is a result of five years testing, is finally here on the road for the public as the Mahindra Two Wheelers has officially launched its much-awaited motorcycle in the Indian two wheeler market at an introductory price of Rs 1.58 lakh (Ex. Showroom Delhi), the price stated is valid for all bookings placed till this Diwali. Online bookings open on October 16, 2015 at the company’s official website- www.mahindramojo.com. The motorcycle is coming up in the three stunning colors- Glacier White, Charcoal Black and Volcano Red. The 300cc motorcycle is competing with the rivals of the segment that are Honda CBR250R, Benelli TNT 25, Royal Enfield Classic 350, Hyosung GD250R and Yamaha YZF R3. Moreover, the first 100 units of Mojo have already booked before its launch.

The Mahindra Mojo is powered by the all-new single-cylinder, air-cooled and four stroke motor, configuring with an engine displacement of 294.7cc. The Double Over Head Camshaft (DOHC) and Electronic Fuel Injection System (EFI) are contributed to meet with the 26.82 BHP of power at 8000 RPM and 30NM of torque at 5500 RPM. The motor of Mojo is paired with a six-speed transmission that helps to meet with the outstanding performance.

Tagged as the sports tourer segment, the entry level Mahindra Mojo has received a dynamic look that includes twin head bulb, twin golden rib beneath the fuel tank, a wide single unit seat, a massive fuel tank and DRL’s and USD forks. The motorcycle is featured with well-cushioned seat, footrest placement and a large handlebar that provide dynamic ride position to the rider.

The Mojo is blessed with dynamic features that are standard in this lineup, the features include front inverted forks and a rear mono shock suspension. The motorcycle rides on Pirelli Diablo Rosso II tyres. Moreover, the motorcycle gets 320 mm front disc brake and a 240 mm rear disc brake. Other features include dual exhaust pipes that add more character in its body profile.

The motorcycle has been launched only in the Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Pune that will be available across the 10 dealerships. Apart from this the company has announced the launch of Mojo Tribe that will be connected the owners of Mojo through the rides and other activities to enhance the experience of biking.
