The home-grown automaker Mahindra motors have launched a new limited edition version of its famous XUV500 SUV in the market with many changes in it, only cosmetic though. Now, the major difference or what you can say the significant change has been done in the car is the addition of Sun Roof with the tag line “Luxury Goes Through the Roof”. Well, being a limited edition car, there only are 2 units available at each dealership across the country with anyone can book by paying the INR 50,000 and that too is refundable and it's available in only FWD W8 engine variant. Now, that's an offer to run for.
Coming to the features, it has electric sunroof, 6-way power adjustable driver seat (no-adjustable option also available), aluminum accented pedal,, grey alloy wheels, reverse camera, illuminated scuff plate, infotainment with internet connectivity and much more. Well, it really seems like a facelifted edition, not like the other manufacturers who just put a sticker to make a car limited edition. Under the bonnet, there are no changes at all with SUV getting powered by the same 2.2 Litre mhawk diesel engine producing 140 bhp power and 330 Nm of torque with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
The price of this limited edition model has not been hiked way too much as far as the features are concerned as it costs only INR 14.49 Lac Ex-Showroom for without power driver seat option and INR 14.65 Lac Ex-Showroom for the power driver seat option.
