ManKame EP-1 Exceptional Electric Superbike Could Launch in 2022

ManKame EP-1 that is an electric superbike project from a Hubli-based start up is likely to launch in India in 2022. Mind you, why the word exceptional is used for the motorcycle. Since it is an electric bike that can achieve the top speed of 250km/hr along with offering a travel range of 500kms. As of now, it’s an idea as the motorcycle did not even get into a prototype that will start building post revenue collection from a crowdfunding campaign on the 1st of July. The market-ready ManKame EP-1 will be available to retail in 2022.

Mechanically, an electric motor with an 18.4kWh battery will handle the propelling duty on the ManKame EP-1. The mentioned setup is capable of generating the peak power of 54 HP at 8000rpm. The top speed and the travel range for this electric superbike has already been mentioned above. However, those figures may sound unachievable for an electric powered motorcycle. But the battery that will be used is a liquid-cooled unit made of high-density Samsung cells.
