Maruti Suzuki Created A Milestone: Check Out How

Maruti Suzuki is the very first company to keep the feet on the CNG vehicle in 2010, factory-fitted with i-GPI technology. So till now, the company has created a milestone in India by selling five lakh CNG vehicle.

The Company at present is offering CNG options in seven models in its portfolio which are- Super Carry, Dzire, WagonR, Eeco, Celerio, Alto K10 and Alto 800. In Maruti Suzuki portfolio, Wagon R is the highest-selling CNG model.

Kenichi Ayukawa, managing director & CEO, Maruti Suzuki said “We are happy that over 5,00,000 customers have selected factory-fitted CNG vehicles that are cleaner, reliable, safer and environment-friendly. The benefit of low cost of ownership comes along with environment-friendly fuel option of CNG. The government’s resolve to rapidly expand countrywide CNG will enable many more customers to own an environment-friendly transport.”

The range of Maruti Suzuki of factory-fitted CNG cars are popular in Delhi NCR, Maharashtra, Telangana, Gujarat, UP, Orissa, Andhra Pradesh and Punjab. Over 50% (up until Nov 2018) of CNG vehicle has been increased in 2018-2019. To reach over 150 cities in India, the Maruti Suzuki have expanded the availability of CNG vehicles to 26 new cities for 2018-2019.
