India's most-selling car Swift from the Maruti Suzuki has finally decided to get updated with more power and this update will produce 90 PS power alongside the new features in the top model of the car. The company has already started teasing the Swift S, as it is called, on the internet and the sources has claimed that the car will be out in the market for selling sometime near to the mid of the next year. The reason behind this engine update is claimed to be the toughest competition faced by the reign since a past few months from the companies like Hyundai, Volkswagen and Chevrolet.
The major change of the car will be its engine, which will the 1.3 Litre DDiS powerhouse, producing 90 PS power and 200 Nm of torque. The engine is same which has been used on the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga and upcoming Ciaz sedan. The company also has plans to update the 1.4 K-series petrol mill that will produce 95 PS power. However, these engine changes will comply with the top model of the car, which is Swift S.
The focus of the Maruti Suzuki, by launching this powerful Swift S is to end the soaring sales of Volkswagen Polo. The Maruti Suzuki Swift is definitely a good option to purchase and this new S version will definitely perform better.
