India's most selling hatchback car Maruti Suzuki Swift will get one more facelift and will be launched in the month of November. The whole Indian car market is already getting many cars in every segment, viz sedan, hatchback and SUV. The Maruti Suzuki Swift first received its facelift in the year 2011 and this will be 2nd facelift of the car which will take on the likes of VW Cross Polo, Avventura, Etios Cross and others as well.
The changes in the car will be very subtle as it's already a famous car and company won't be taking any chances to change it completely. The main tweaks of the car will be a new front bumper, LED DRLs, foglights, new alloy wheels, new rear bumper and tail lights as well. Inside, the car will have features like new LCD infotainment system which is the demand of today’s car without any doubt. Mechanically, the engine will be the same 1.2 Litre K-series petrol which produces 87 PS power and 114 Nm of torque. The diesel engine of the car produces 75 PS power and 190 Nm torque. Both the cars will mate with 5-speed manual transmission gearbox, however the diesel one may get the automatic version this time.
The price of this second face-lifted version of the Maruti Suzuki Swift will start from the INR 4.5 Lac and will go near INR 6.75 Lac for the top model of the car. The new cars like Tata Bolt, Honda Jazz facelift, Hyundai i10 will get a tough challenge from this facelift version.
