Maruti has decided to discontinue its two cars; A-star and Estilo. These cars had made good sales in their initial round, but with time they started getting boring and apart from consumer's choice. This indifference was out of the affordability of Maruti and hence they took the wise decision of marking a parenthesis on their duties. These cars were not getting any place in the expert's view and their wise car's list. However, they were getting pushed just by the name of reliable firm Maruti. With the discontinuation of these models, Maruti will also stop importing the engines which were getting used in few Nissan models like PIXO.

Maruti has worked on the replacement of the A-star which will probably be named as A:Wind. This car has been displayed as a concept in Thailand International Motor Expo 2013. The new car has an all new design and styling which will be hitting the Indian roads somewhere in 2014. Surprisingly, the car would be wearing a 16 inch wheel which sounds quite big for a small car. A:Wind will be equipped with 996 cc engine which will drive the front wheel. The design which Maruti has displayed is just the concept but if this concept reaches the production line, than it will definitely create impressive sales charts. As per the concept, the car will be having a smiling chrome grill which covers some part of head lights also. The projector head light could become the winning stance for this car. A:Wind has wider interior than A-star which is a good thing.
