Maruti is continuously becoming more powerful day by day by launching its plethora pocket friendly cars. Last year, it introduced Swift facelift, Celerio, Ciaz and many more vehicles in the automotive sector, which have been amazingly loved by the customers. Now, the company is planning to roll out the YBA sub 4 metre compact SUV in the first month of next year. The Maruti SX4 S-Cross is also expected to be set up soon, which will rival against Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and Mahindra Scorpio, while the YBA seems to compete the Ford EcoSport, Mahindra S101, Tata Nexon and VW Taigun.
Both of these vehicles will be categorized in the list of hot selling compact SUV segment. The upcoming Maruti YBA will be available in petrol as well as diesel engine options and for petrol, it will either get a tried and tested 1.2 litre four cylinder K series unit or an all new 1.0 litre turbocharged 'Boosterjet' mill that has already been found on the ik-2 concept at the Geneva Motor Show. On the other hand, its oil burner model would be powered by a 1.3 litre Multijet engine and a self developed diesel mill is also likely to be acquainted as well.
Moreover, The crossover is about to be priced between INR 5 Lacs to INR 8 Lacs and ahead of making the introduction of this car, the brand is anticipated to launch its YRA Premium hatchback at the end of this ongoing year.
