Maruti Vitara Brezza Likely to be Launched on March 21

From the last few months, Maruti's upcoming Vitara Brezza has been making headlines because of its stylish and appealing looks. After a series of various teasers and video clips, it succeeded to receive a lot of recognition at 2016 Auto Expo. And now, some fresh reports suggest that the car could be launched on March 21. The bookings have already started in return of token amount of INR 21,000 and there is a lot of excitement among the audience. It's not only going to be a threat for sub-compact SUVs, but also for the compact SUVs in the automobile market.

Based on the Grand Vitara, which is being sold by Suzuki in the global market, the Brezza is adorned with sporty elements like body cladding on the front bumper, silver skid plates, wide air dam, and roof rails. Further it is fitted with projector headlamps with LED DRLs, fog lamps, rear windscreen wiper, 2 piece tail lamps and flaunts a dual tone paint shade on the exterior portions. From inside, it will be equipped with multi-function steering wheel, automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay, touchscreen infotainment and much more.

Mechanically, it is going to be offered with a 1.3 litre DDiS engine, which is a trusted mill by Maruti Suzuki. This engine is tuned to make 88BHp and 200Nm of maximum torque and  the fuel efficiency will be measured at 23 km/l. This car is special for the brand because it has been developed in India with 98% localisation by the Maruti's R&D lead by Mr C.V. Raman.
