Mercedes-AMG GT3 Teased Ahead of Geneva

The German automaker Mercedes-Benz has revealed the teaser image of the upcoming Mercedes-AMG GT3 car. The roadster will hit the stage at the next month commencing Geneva Motor Show and this latest image not a mere sketch as the previous ones. The AMG GT cars by the manufacturer are completely race oriented with high performance features available in the current models namely Mercedes-Benz GT and GT S. This division was earlier responsible for the production of SLS AMG class, which now have been replaced by these AMG GT cars. Now, the new version or the successor of the ongoing GT models has a lot of changes on the cosmetic section at least and the changes are visible through the very first looks.

The major changes include vertical chrome slates, extended splitter with 2 carbon fibre canards on each side of the bumper, re-designed bonnet and larger rear wing as well. The car will surely be getting a hike in the performance as well, but that information is under the wraps for now. Although the current 4.0 Litre V8 biTurbo engine is also not bad with 462 bhp power for GT and 510 bhp for GT S.

The AMG section by the Mercedes has seriously re-defined the status of the company and the cars have been the serious challenge to its counterparts like Audi R8 and BMW M series cars. Well, let just wait for the company to let us know the engine specification of this Gt 3 model and then the competition will begin.
