Mercedes-Benz Launches B-Class Facelift in India

With the launch B-Class facelift in India, the German car-maker Mercedes-Benz has made it the most affordable car in the country with LED lights. Well, it might sound odd, but the LEDs are the latest trend and not every car offers it. Although, the B-Class facelift offers many more features on it with both mechanical and cosmetic changes in it. The Ex-Showroom price of its petrol model starts from INR 27.95 Lac and its INR 28.95 Ex-Showroom, Mumbai for the diesel model. It was demoed at the Paris Motor Show 2014 lat year and the predecessor is already on sale in the Indian market. Under the bonnet, there are no changes for the petrol model and the B180 petrol continues to powered by the 1.6 Litre turbocharged engine developing 121 bhp power and 200 Nm torque.

While the diesel engine produce more power that is 134 bhp power and 300 Nm torque with the same 2.2 Litre 4-Cylinder engine. Both the models get a new 7-speed DCT transmission system to send the power to its front wheels. Mentioning its features, apart from the LEDs, there are new taillights, re-designed underlip for the rear bumper, re-profiled front fascia and headlights as well.

Inside the cabin, there is new steering wheel like one in new CLA class, latest 7-inch COMAND screen, satellite navigation and instrument cluster as well. All these features will definitely make an impact on the sales of already soaring Mercedes-Benz numbers and the company hopes for the same too.
