As we have already given you the confirmation that the Mercedes CLA sedan will be arriving in India next month and now, this news will assure you the exact date of appearance, which is saying that the runabout will hit the Indian automobile market on January 22. Based on the MFA series platform, the CLA sedan shares its various properties with A Class that has also been machined on the similar platform and gets the same folding wing mirrors, climate control, Mercedes’s COMAND infotainment system, a sunroof, leather seats and 7 airbags.
On the other hand, the CLA 45 AMG coupe has been reached on dealership and gotten an appreciable response with its tremendous performance. Coming to the sedan version, this car will be available in petrol and diesel fuel mill options. Both are inspired by the GLA and a 2.0 litre turbocharged four cylinder petrol engine would produce power of 181 hp alongside a peak torque of 300 Nm. However, its diesel model will be powered by a 2.2 litre four cylinder unit to churn out power of 134 hp and torque of 300 Nm.
Both engine variants receives a 7-speed dual clutch transmission system, which transfers the produced power to all four wheels of the models. Mercedes will make an introduction of this upcoming luxurious sedan as a competitor of Audi A3 between the approximate price of INR 25-30 Lacs.
