A few days back, the German luxury car manufacturer Mercedes-Benz has made an announcement that it will make the worldwide appearance of its GLE Coupe at the 2015 North American International Motor Show. Ahead of the debut, this runabout has been spotted testing in Europe with Concept Coupe SUV’s inspired design pattern, which was showcased at the 2014 Beijing Show. It is engineered on the same platform, which also underpins the M class, this model includes a sophisticated exterior to entice every customer at their first eyesight.
The SUV will be the first model from Mercedes-Benz that will have an AMG-Sport variant with the name of GLE Coupe 450 AMG. This premium trim will be powered by a V6 bi-turbo petrol engine to produce a spectacular power of 367 hp as well as an awesome torque of 520 Nm and coupled with a 9-speed automatic transmission, which would send power to its all four wheels. Moreover, the diesel and petrol mills are probably to churn out the appreciable outputs of 258 hp and 333 hp, respectively.
There are anticipations that the vehicle will achieve an energetic top speed alongside the best mileage capacity to adduce a splendid drive for its driver. The Mercedes GLE Coupe is about to be introduced in India as a competitor of the BMW X6.
