2016 Paris Motor Show is about to begin in a couple of months and all automakers are real busy with their plans. Meanwhile, Mitsubishi has just released a teaser of its upcoming hybrid SUV concept- the Ground Tourer and hints to make its official debut at the same event.
Although, Mitsubishi was trying hard enough to hide this concept behind the darkness, but it makes sense that the new design is likely to be based on the company’s Dynamic Shield design language. Rumours are also taking shape that the new concept is likely to replace its one of the most successful SUVs Outlander.

If the production version of the Ground Tourer arrives, it will wear the same clothes as the concept unit. It shall be carrying some features like a floating roof altogether with a rear spoiler, which is adorned in cherry red color. Furthermore, it is no secret that this new beast will run on a hybrid engine that consists of gasoline and an electric unit.
For the time being, Mitsubishi has kept its lips zipped and didn't unveil anything yet, however it is clear that the car will house a “latest expression of Mitsubishi Motors.” In order to beat both on and off road tracks, the brand will feature an all wheel drive configuration on this hybrid model.
