Mahindra's new premium MPV is under construction to compete against the Toyota Innova Crysta. The Xylo model of the company has not been updated for quite long and even it is not ready for an update as well. This is the reason that the Indian manufacturer is losing hands in MPV segment and Innova with an update is making good number when comparing it with Xylo model.
Mahindra U321 is among the regular test mules and the recently spotted model reveals that it is about to finish and ready with production body panels. The revealed images show the rear wiper and tail lamps. The test mule takes steel wheels and an alloy wheel kind of design cover.
The interior space seems quite big as the Innova Crysta and well formulated third-row space. Mahindra is as well working very hard to bring upmarket feel in design as revealed in last spied images.
Collectively, the finish and fit will be better as compared to other Mahindra products in the range and the new MPV will take a new design instrument cluster and three spoke steering wheel. The gear lever comes equipped with the centre console creating more of space. Mahindra U321 is expected to be 7 or 8 seaters as of now.
