MV Agusta F4 Launched In India, Priced at Rs. 25.5 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Pune)

After making the grand entry of the Brutale 1090 in the country last week, the Italian superbike maker, MV Agusta, has officially launched its flagship motorcycle F4 in the Indian two-wheeler market at Rs. 25.5 Lakh (Ex-showroom, Pune). Indeed, it would be a huge day for the superbike’s zealous. The bookings for the fully faired motorcycle have been commenced for an amount of 50 percent of the total cost and the rest of 50 percent before the 15 days of delivery. Bookings for the F4 are going through the Motoroyale.in. The motorcycle will compete with the Yamaha R1, BMW S1000RR, Aprilia RSV4 and Suzuki GSX-R1000.

 The fully faired motorcycle boots the new design language that includes aerodynamic front fairing, daytime running headlights, windscreen and compact headlight. The highly advanced electronic package and the advanced engineering behind the on board make it the most advanced performance-oriented motorcycle in this category. The top speed has been noted at 291.2 KMPH.

The 998cc engine breathes through the in-line, four-stroke, four-cylinder and 16-valve engine displacement that make it able to produce 195 Ps of power at 13,400 RPM and 110.8 Nm of torque at 9600 RPM. All the power send to the rear wheel via the six-speed transmission. The motorcycle is blessed with a dynamic electronic package that includes MVICS (Motor and Vehicle Integrated Control System) technology, ELDOR electronics package with ride-by-wire and four engine maps; Throttle sensitivity, Maximum torque, Engine braking, Engine response and Rev limiter.

The complete structure is built around on a CrMo steel tubular trellis frame that will provide excellent stability as well rigidity at the top spped. Moreover, the motorcycle comes loaded with a fully adjustable Marzocchi suspension, while the top speed is kept under controlled by a front double floating 320mm Brembo discs with four pistons and a rear 210 Nissin single steel disc with four pistons. ABS is standard in this motorcycle. The broad rear tyre provides excellent grip on the any type of road surface as it rides on a front 120/70/R17 tyre and a rear 200/55/R17 tyre.
