MV Agusta Opens Pre-Orders For 2017 Brutale 800 in India, Launch Soon

As suggested from the previous reports of MV Agusta, the Indian subsidiary of Italian sports bike manufacturer was going to launch the 2017 MV Agusta Brutale 800 in India in July 2017. However, there was no official date of its Indian emergence. But now, the company has officially announced the commencement of pre-booking through a shared image on its social media channel. That consolidates its advent in this July month. Here in India, the 2017 Brutale 800 will be available through the Semi Knocked Down (SKD) route.

Underneath the fuel tank, the new MV Agusta Brutale 800 will be powered by a Euro 4 compliant 798cc inline three cylinder engine. The mill is said to be tuned to spit out 109bhp of maximum power at 11,500 rpm and 83 Nm of torque at 7600 rpm. The suspension duties on the 2017 MV Agusta Brutale 800 are handled by 43mm Marzochhi front forks and a rear Sachs Monoshock. While, the braking power for the motorcycle will come from a dual 320mm floating disc setup with four piston calipers at the front wheel and a 220mm single disc setup at the rear wheel.

Cosmetically, the new Agusta Brutale 800 found some changes that include a full LED headlamp, LED turn indicators, new handlebar, instrument panel and controls as well as a redesigned tail light. At the electronic package, the motorcycle comes loaded with the facilities of slipper clutch, switchable ABS, eight level traction control, riding modes and and integrated multi-map Ride-By-Wire System, which not only help in providing dynamic performance but also boosts up the confidence of the rider.

Here, it is likely to hit the market at the price sticker something around INR 15 lakh (ex-showroom) and will go in competition with the likes of 2017 Triumph Street Triple range, Kawasaki Z900 and the Ducati Monster 821 in this segment.
