Honda Motorcycles and Scooters India, that is famous for its products across India, for offering superb power and torque output along with adequate mileage figures, is currently in updating phase of the existing product lineup. The two-wheeler manufacturer has already refined a number of products and remainings are lined up to get the same treatment for complying the improved and more strict BS-IV emission norms that have been implemented in the country from April 1, 2017.
Following the same course, the Honda India has launched the range topping model of Dream range of motorcycles, the updated 2017 Dream Yuga at Rs 51,741 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The commuter now features BS-IV compliant engine and an Automatic Headlamp On (AHO) utility, that not only improves vehicle’s visibility in dawn, dust or fog but also in bright daylight. Other than this, the new Dream Yuga 2017 also get painted in new colour schemes and decals.
2017 Dream Yuga gets the propelling power from the same a 109cc single-cylinder powertrain of the previous model. The BS-IV compliant engine is rated to belt out the maximum power of 8.3bhp and a peak torque of 9Nm. The mill is in connection with a four-speed gearbox to transfer all the generated power to the rear wheel. Rides on 18 Inch alloy wheels, the motorcycle gets braking power from the drum brakes at both wheels.
Available in six attractive yet sportier color schemes- blue, red, white, black, grey and metallic red; the new generation Dream Yuga will go head to head with the likes of Hero Splendor 110 iSmart and the TVS Victor in this commuter segment.
