The German motorcycle manufacturer, BMW Motorrad has launched the Bagger version of its the K 1600 model in India. It is christened as the BMW Motorrad K 1600 B. The bike hit the Indian shores at the recently passed 2017 India Bike Week in Goa with its sibling the BMW R NineT Racer that is focused to serve audience looking for cafe racer styled motorcycle. Bookings for the new BMW K 1600 B that has arrived at all the BMW outlets via CBU route across the country. The amount you have to pay to opt this Bagger is Rs 29 lakh (ex-showroom).

Wearing a typical Bagger silhouette, the new BMW K 1600 B is based on the K 1600 GT and features a new rear subframe to offer an all-new outlook. Other features include a chopped windscreen, foldable rear mudguard for easy removal of the rear wheel, chrome polished silencers on either side and last but not the least, LED tail lights that are studded on a sleek hard case on either side.

In addition to these, there are BMW patented ESA suspension with automatic damping to offer a dynamic riding experience. Two riding modes-road and cruise, Shift Assistant Pro that is known as the quick shifter in layman’s terms along with forward positioned footpegs are also being provided with the bagger to lend you a comfortable and convenient ride. While the BMW’s Reverse Assistant Pro will aid you in parking bike with 319 kg wet weight even in the tightest locality.

Under the fuel tank, the K 1600B is packed with the K-series inline six cylinder engine as a beating heart that sends the propelling power of 160 hp at 7750 rpm along with 175 Nm peak torque at 5250 rpm to the rear wheel via a mated six-speed transmission. While, the fitments such as ABS Pro, dynamic brake light, and Dynamic Traction Control ensure safety on the bike.
