New Honda CB190X Adventure Bike Showcased

A small capacity adventure motorcycle from Honda that is under works from a while now, has been showcased. Based on the CB190R naked, the motorcycle is dubbed as the CB190X. A few months earlier, the CBF190X Fight Hawk, an another variant of the same was unveiled in China. The CB190X adventure was built under the partnership of the Honda-Wuyang, a 25 years long joint venture, similar to Hero-Honda.

Furnished with all the adventure friendly equipments, the CB190X misses out on dual purpose tyres and propels on the road-biased ones. Other prominent features include a secondary high-set mudguard, high windscreen, hand guards, crash bars, underbelly skid plate and a new aluminum rear rack which has mounts for fitting panniers.

In term of powering, the 84cc air-cooled and fuel-injected single provides the maximum power of 15.9PS @ 8000rpm and 15Nm peak torque @ 7000rpm to the CB190X adventure. The generated power transmits to the rear wheel with the aids of a five-speed gearbox.

While the Indian arrival of the bike is not confirmed but the speculations that how the Honda Hornet 160 performed like a flagship, the adventure in question could be turned out something like this for the bike maker. Other than this, a new bike in the sub 200cc segment is also rumored from the Honda India stable. As expected, it could be a faired version of the Hornet 160. Back in time, Hero MotoCorp was having the Impulse in the Indian lineup but it did not perform. So, in order to fill the void, the enthusiasts will love to see a small-sized ADV from the company. Currently, the Royal Enfield Himalayan, is the only bike in the segment as a leader.
