New MV Agusta 800 to Launch in India by Next Year

MV Agusta India is contemplating to introduce the all new Brutale 800 to its Indian lineup by the month of March next year. The Brutale 800, erstwhile will have to wend through the homologation process at ARAI (The Automotive Research Association of India, Pune), which is already in operation since June-July 2016 and more likely to be completed by January 2017. As per the automaker, claimed to be the handy MV Agusta motorcycle, this stylish Brutale 800 will be shipped to the Indian shores through the semi-knocked-down (SKD) channel.

If talked about the beauty of this 2017 Brutale 800, the strategic model which claimed as a flagship product of the company’s future plans, and will be counted around 25 percent of the brand’s total yield. It is supported with the cosmetic bits such as a LED headlamp, fully digital instrument console, new handlebar, chiseled fuel tank (capacity 16.5 liters), three pipes exhaust unit and the reworked tail section incorporated with LED indicators. The complete makeover has been given to the bike, earlier this year to make it more streamlined and aerodynamic in design.

All-new Brutale 800 from rear end

Built over a lightweight composite steel trellis frame and a new aluminum subframe to offer high torsional rigidity and weight reduction, the new Brutale 800 has a revised 800cc, in-line three cylinder engine, under the skin. Meant to comply Euro IV emission norms, this improved trim is able of generating a max power of 114 bhp as against to its older iterations 125bhp churn out.

As far as advanced safety electronic features considered, an ABS system from Bosch, EAS 2.0 gearshift (electronically assisted shift, which offers a seamless gearshift in a negligible piece of time), new slipper clutch, ride-by-wire system and an 8-stage traction control along with others have been supplied to this new naked street performance bike.

Here in the Indian market, it will be in competition with the other streetfighters like the Kawasaki Z800, Ducati Monster 821 and the Triumph Street Triple.
