Suzuki Vitara Noticed While Testing In India

A diesel version of the Maruti Suzuki Vitara noticed while testing in the country. With the launch, it is likely to obtain fresh surface and feature revisions. After the launch, the Suzuki Vitara will compete against Renault Captur and Hyundai Creta.

To make happy the fans here is the latest information that Suzuki Vitara is spotted freshly while testing in the country. However, no plans about the India launch has been put by the company, it is expected that the surge in demand of the utility vehicle has forced the Suzuki to spread out its range of products in the portfolio. The Vitara can be a strong competitor of the Renault Captur and the Hyundai Creta.

The fresh test mule was seen while testing in a turquoise metallic shade and high-placed stop light. Furthermore, the test mule also takes five-spoke alloys, roof rails, a rear windshield wiper and two-piece tail lamps. However, the information about the interior is not out, we expect that the car to get updated upholstery and new features in terms of an engine start/stop button and a touchscreen infotainment system.

Reports suggest that the spotted one is powered by a diesel engine. In the market, it is placed above the S-Cross and available with petrol and diesel engine unit. Petrol unit gets a 1.6-litre, four-cylinder engine that produces a max power 118bhp and a torque of 156Nm. The petrol variant is powered by a 1.4-litre, the turbocharged engine produces a max power of 138bhp and a peak torque of 220Nm. The diesel version produces 118bhp of power and 320Nm of torque.

An all-wheel-drive system is available on offer. The vehicle will come mated to a five-speed or a six-speed manual transmission or maybe a six-speed automatic transmission.
