Next Generation Duster to Carry Digital Instrument Cluster

Lately, the automobile market has been buzzing with the reports that the next generation Renault Duster is being developed. And now, as per some recent speculated reports, the company is going to introduce the car with a digital instrument cluster. This component is likely to be derived from the upcoming Kwid model, which is due for launch in the near future. Duster was brought in India for the first time in the year 2012 and soon after its arrival, it became a popular vehicle among the audience. Another version of the SUV had arrived in March, 2015 with updated features. This time, the model will be further upgraded, which is expected to hit the showrooms by the year 2017.

Apart from the change in the instrument cluster, several other alterations will be made in the exterior as well as interior portions of the next generation Duster. The fascia will receive a newly designed grille and air intakes at the front end. Besides, the front and rear bumper will also be revamped to impart the car a refreshing appearance. The headlamps are likely to be replaced by all LED headlights and the roof rail will also be modified to some extent.

Under the hood, the updated SUV is expected to carry a 1.5 litre diesel engine that generates output in two states including- 84Bhp/200Nm and 110Bhp/240Nm. There will also be a petrol engine option delivering 102Bhp power and 145Nm torque. Further, a 1.2 litre TCe motor can also be offered mated to an automatic gearbox along with an AWD setup.
