Nissan Leaf to Arrive in India Soon

Indian car market is at the priority list of every car maker in the world and now that the Indian government is all ready to start its Faster Adoption and Manufacturing of Electric Vehicles (FAME) program this month, electric vehicles are going to be promoted with bang now. Pumped up by this initiative, Nissan has come ahead with the promise of the launch of its Leaf all electric vehicle in the country in this year. The car has already been regarded as the most sold car of the world with already 1,60,000 units sold. It was also demoed with other company vehicles to the buyers and enthusiasts at an even in New Delhi last month.

Being an electric mule, there is no effect on the power as it produces 240 Nm torque right from the beginning with the help of its 80 KW motor. However, the one time full charged range of this car is 135 KM, but it is expected to hit 400 KM in near future according to the Nissan itself. The company has many safety features like ABS, EBD, 6-airbags, vehicle dynamic control and traction control system as well.

The Euro NCAP has also given highest rating which is 5-Star to this car and we surely hope that the electric vehicles will now make good market in India and this Nissan Leaf would be a leader of them.
