Before the launch at the Delhi Auto Expo 2018 event, the specifications of the third-generation Swift is out. The pre-booking of the car has been started with the initial price of Rs. 11,000. The new Maruti Suzuki Swift is expected to price at Rs. 4.80 lakh - 7.47 lakh (ex-showroom, India).
Here are the details about what you can get from the 2018 new Swift features.
The car comes equipped with a 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engines, as before. An automatic manual option (AMT) is first time available in the car. Same like the Baleno, Ingis, and Dzire, the car is also based on the latest Heartect platform by Suzuki.
The new Swift is lightweight due to an addition of the new lightweight platform maintaining overall weight. It also considers the latest crash test regulations in the country.

Both the available diesel and petrol engines will take an AMT as an option. At the time of launch, these options will be for the V and Z models only.
The new Swift will be coming in four variants including Z, Z+, L, and V. The exterior color scheme takes six different choices including Magma Grey, Silky Silver, Pearl Arctic White, Solid Fire Red, Midnight Blue, and prime Lucent Orange (new addition).
Here are the specs of the Z+ variant:
LED graphics and LED brake lights instead of incandescent unit available before
15-inch machined wheels rather than the painted wheels before
Addition of Auto-LED projector headlamps and LED DRLs instead of multi-reflector headlamps
7-inch screen, rearview camera, 6-speakers system and parking sensors remain at their position as before
Flat-bottom and leather steering wheel
The screen supports Google Android Auto and Apple CarPlay along with MirrorLink connectivity. Further, the system has USB, Bluetooth, and aux-in connectivity
Auto climate control
Passive keyless entry system with push-button
Engine start-stop technology
Coming to the safety features, it has front seat belts with pretensioners, Isofix child seat anchors, ABS with EBD, brake assist, and dual front airbags.
