Porsche Cayenne Facelift Coming to India Next Year

Porsche unveiled its Cayenne facelift at the recently commenced Paris Motor Show 2014 and now the car has been spotted at the Guangzhou Auto Show in China. Porsche has tweaked the car's cosmetic and mechanical parts and will go on sale in China pretty soon. Once available in China, it soon will come to the Indian market as well and the company has already confirmed it officially. All the four models of this car that is Cayenne, Cayenne S, Cayenne S-E Hybrid, Cayenne S Turbo will get updated features. The major features include LED DRLs, re-designed taillamps with same base structure.

 Porsche Cayenne SE Hybrid

There are not many changes inside the car, but only rear seat ventilation option has been given. Talking about the engine, the base Cayenne gets a 3.0 Litre supercharged engine producing 333 bhp power and 440 Nm torque. The Cayenne S get 3.6 Litre twin-turbocharged engine producing 414 bhp power. The S-E Hybrid Cayenne will be powered by a 3.0 Litre V6 supercharged engine and an electric motor producing net power output of 410 bhp. And, the last but not the least Cayenne S Turbo gets the most powerful 4.8 Litre turbocharged engine producing 512 bhp power and can reach from none to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds.

The car will come to India next year with an expected hefty price tag of around INR 95-97 Lac ex-showroom. The high price of the car could be the CBU route ramification through which the Porsche will enter into India.
