The results of this additional power-package are quite impressive, as it reduces the time of 0-100 kmph sprint by almost 1 second and gives a boost of 8.4 kmph in the top speed over the previous generation Panamera S E-hybrid. Porsche said that this performance added package is mainly developed for the plug-in hybrid sports car, 918 Spyder.

Porsche claims a driving range of up to 50 km at a speed of below 140 kmph while running on the pure electric powertrain. Further added, Porsche says that this liquid-cooled lithium ion battery can be fully charged in 5.8 hours using the standard 3.6 kW charger, while the charging duration can be reduced to 3.6 hours using an optional 7.2 kW charger.

To keep an eye on the electric power operations, the new Panamera 4 E-hybrid comes with a standard 12.3-inch touchscreen display or called ‘power meter’, which has also seen in 918 Spyder. Similar to that, the meter gives details on the rest amount of the electric energy as well as the amount being used in the real time. Furthermore, the new model comes with the ‘boost assistance’ which display the electric energy available for boosting the car, and the ‘hybrid assistance’ which tells you how to manage the electric drive for maximum fuel mileage.
