Most alloy wheels are made of aluminium, magnesium or a mixture of a metal and other elements, which gives them greater strength to handle all the task easily. There are several aftermarket wheel manufacturers available in India providing high-end alloy wheels. And now, Ferrada, an American renowned wheel manufacturer, has introduced its subsidiary here in the country.
Based out of USA, Ferrada was incorporated in the early 2000s and known for creating a unique range of wheels basically for Domestic, Japanese and European vehicles. At the time, Ferrada wheels are available in 19-inch and 20-inch sizes and gearing up to introduce 22-inch wheels as well. Currently, firms like BMW, Lamborghini, Mercedes-Benz, Audi, Ferrari, Porsche and Lexus has been using these wheels.
In India, the company has launched its counterpart with the joint partnership of DAD design, Mumbai. According to the reports, Ferrada has already dispatched and offered a few set of alloy wheels to Indian customers that include some Ford Mustang owners in Mumbai. On the pricing aspects, Ferrada wheels are available between the bucket of 1.8-3.0 lakh varying on size, design and wheel finish.
