Purposely Built 2016 Suzuki V-Strom 1000GT Launched In Australia

The Australian subsidiary of Japanese giant Suzuki, proposed the launch of Grand Tourer Edition of the V-Strom 1000 GT adventure motorcycle to keep in mind the vast distances and remote, rugged terrain of Australia.

Purposely built The GT edition receives power output to move forward the tourer from a 1037 cc, 90-degree v-twin engine which uses Suzuki’s Dual Throttle Valve fuel injection that delivers the throttle response as per the road conditions as top end power burst for the highway riding, The three-mode traction control system continuously monitors the speed of the front and rear wheel, and intelligently manages the engine output by adjusting ignition timing and air delivery with the wheel spin speed detection from the gathered information provided by the throttle position sensor, the crank position sensor, and the gear position sensor.

The bike is built around a substantial aluminium twin-spar frame, which is settled down on an adjustable 43mm inverted forks up front and a single-shock rear suspension that features rebound damping adjustability and an additional remote spring preload adjuster to resist the shock on to the harsh terrain. It also has a three-way height and angle-adjustable windscreen.

The GT edition comes with large touring screen, LED indicators, handguards, attractive tank protector, crash bars, lower engine cowling, centre stand, side case set and Factory Suzuki 35L top box to support the adventure trip of multi days or to commute daily for work.

At the instrument cluster level, it has an info-rich instrument cluster that houses an analogue tachometer and a brightness-adjustable LCD speedometer. LCD readouts also include an odometer, the gear position, dual trip meters, the voltage, the riding range, the coolant and ambient temperatures, the traction control mode, the average fuel consumption, the instantaneous fuel consumption,a fuel gauge, and a clock.
