The much awaited SUV cum crossover which is undoubtedly the Duster, in its 4WD system has been revealed completely before the next month launch. The all wheel drive system of the Renault Duster was the demand of the people since a long time and now, sighting the right time, the company has launched the car with the needed changes in the exteriors and interiors as well. The 4WD will be based on the Adventure trim, that has obviously more power than the regular model edition.
Mentioning the features of the Renault Duster 4x4, there are tinted headlights, steel wheels for the lower models and alloy wheel for the top trim and yeah, the 4WD badge on the boot lid of the carriage. Other main features of this new version are new steering wheel, red domination for the seats and a brand new touchscreen infotainment system as well. Now, talking mechanically, there is no change in the engine, but just the transmission system for which the controls are located below the AC knobs to choose the modes from 2WD, Auto and lock deferential. The new version also has been equipped with the traction control system as well and making it an all around all wheel system.
The price for this runabout will be costing a Lac more than the ordinary version and that means the Renault Duster 4WD will come at a price of INR 12.9 Lac ex-showroom. Also, now this crossover SUV will get tougher competition from the cars like Mahindra Scorpio 4x4 and Tata Safari Storme 4x4 as well.
