Two days back, we informed you that the Bookings of the upcoming Renault Lodgy MPV have been opened at the token amount of INR 50,000 in India and now, there are possibilities that it will be arriving in the country next month. This vehicle would get the length of 4,490 mm, width of 1,751 mm, height of 1,697 mm and wheelbase of 2,810 mm. Notably, Renault introduces 257 litres of luggage compartment in the runabout, which can be expanded up to 1,861 litres via folding down its last two rows seats.
Coming to the aesthetic features, the Lodgy MPV will be adorned with a chrome bar grille housing Renault badge, flanked by sweptback headlights and stunning bumper at the front fascia, while the rear end would include latest tail lamps as well as redesigned bumper. Inside, the car will share its major properties with Duster alongside instrument cluster, infotainment system, air conditioning vents and steering wheel. On the top end variant, impressive safety features as well as interior facilities can be seen, including dual front airbags, ABS, EBD, reverse parking sensors and a touchscreen Media NAV system.
Beneath the skin, the Renault Lodgy will be powered by a 1.5 litre dCi engine to produce two different outputs of 85 PS and 110 PS. Both of these power states would get mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox and 6-speed transmission, respectively. The price range is expected to be varied between INR 8 Lacs to INR 12 Lacs.
